Was Abel a Muslim?

The story of Cain and Abel is very famous both in Bible and Quran.

According to Quran, when Abel understood that Cain intend to kill him he said:

Even if thou stretch out thy hand against me to kill me, I shall not stretch out
my hand against thee to kill thee, lo! I fear Allah, the Lord of the Worlds.

(5:28)

Is that Islamic atitued? sound more like the christian atitued of the other cheek:

But I tell you, Do not resist an evil person. If someone strikes you on the
right cheek, turn to him the other also.

(Matthew 5:39)

I wonder if muslims take it as Islamic way and if so,who exactly follow this way?

  1. Let Noble Quran reply to you…

Noble Quran Verse 13:22 "Those who patiently persevere, seeking the countenance of their Lord; establish regular prayers; spend out of (the gifts) We have bestowed for their sustenance, secretly and openly; and turn off evil with good: for such there is the final attainment of the (Eternal) Home."

Noble Quran Verse 23:96 "Repel evil with that which is best: We are Well-acquainted with the things they say."

Noble Quran Verse 41:34 "Nor can goodness and evil be equal. Repel (evil) with that is better: Then will he between whom and thee was hatred become as it were thy friend and intimate!."

Noble Quran Verse 28:54 "Twice will they be given their reward, for that they have persevered, that they avert evil with good, and that they spend (in charity) out of what We have given them."

Noble Quran Verse 42:40 "The recompense for an injury is an injury equal thereto (in degree): but if a person forgives and makes reconciliation, his reward is due from Allah: for (Allah) Loveth not those who do wrong."
