We have enjoined on man kindness to his parents; in pain did his mother bear him, and in pain did she give him birth
(Quran 46:15)
Well the context is a little bit diffrent but the style is much similar to one of the famous verses in Genesis:
Unto the woman He said: 'I will greatly multiply thy pain and
thy travail; in pain thou shalt bring forth children;
(Genesis 3:16)
once agian we can see the influence of Judaism on Islam.
